Graduation Checklist

• Apply to graduate (summer 2023, fall 2023, and spring 2024 candidates; summer 2024 candidates may apply after they enroll in their final classes) 
  • Please direct any questions about the graduation application to the Office of the Registrar
• Purchase regalia
• Complete the graduation survey
• Register for Commencement and school celebrations

Optional graduation items to consider:

• Nominate someone to receive an honorary degree at Commencement on the National Mall.
• Make an appointment to have your Cherry Tree Yearbook picture taken
• Update your contact information with the Alumni Association
• Learn about your email account benefits after you become an alum
• Sign up to continue receiving GW Today emails after you become an alum
