We are delighted to announce that registration for Commencement Week 2023 is now open.
The culmination of your time at GW, this graduation week includes school, college, and organization celebrations, as well as our treasured #OnlyAtGW tradition, Commencement on the National Mall.
We invite all members of the Class of 2023 to register yourself and your guests for all the exciting events and activities taking place on campus and in Washington, D.C. that week. Please complete registration by Friday, May 12.

IMPORTANT:
- Apply to graduate. Graduating students must apply to graduate and complete the mandatory graduation survey before registering for Commencement. Please wait 6 hours after completing the graduation survey before attempting to register for Commencement Week events; GW Law and School of Medicine and Health Sciences students should wait up to 48 hours before registering due to their school-specific surveys.
- Schedule. Be sure to review the Commencement Week Schedule and confer with your guests about which events you wish to attend. This will help make the registration process much smoother.
- Weather. Commencement on the National Mall is held rain or shine. Please check the Commencement website periodically on May 21 for the latest information.
