Commencement on the National Mall and School Celebration Tickets

Spring 2014 and Summer 2014 graduates can pick up their commencement and school celebration tickets directly from their school, once they have completed the mandatory online graduation survey.  Graduates will need to present a copy of their email confirmation and valid GWorld card to claim their tickets at designated distribution points.  
Graduates will receive six guest tickets for Commencement on the National Mall.  The quantity of tickets for school celebrations varies by school.
Commencement on the National Mall tickets for Summer 2013 and Fall 2013 graduates will be mailed by Friday, April 18 to the graduates' diploma address on file.  If you have not received your packet by Wednesday, May 7, please contact University Events at (202) 994-7129 or by email.   

Lost Tickets

Graduates will need to submit a letter stating their situation and the lost item(s) to the University Events. A letter can be emailed to University Events, Marvin Center, Suite 204, 800 21st Street, NW, Washington, DC 20052. Upon the Assistant Vice President's review and approval, the lost item(s) will be reissued.

Extra Tickets for University Commencement

Graduates can be placed on a wait list, maintained by University Events, beginning February 1, 2014.  Tickets on the wait list can only be held for the graduate. 
The wait list does not operate on a first-come, first-served basis. If extra tickets are made available, graduates will receive email notification from the University Events after Wednesday, April 30, 2014.
Students are also encouraged to ask their friends if they have any extra tickets at their disposal.
