Doctoral Candidate Regalia
Candidates had the option to purchase one of two types of regalia (see Regalia Information Page). Candidates were able to purchase both types of regalia during the vendor's, Herff Jones, sale from February 12 - 14 in the GW Bookstore from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Please note: Cap and Gown purchases will NOT include a hood. Doctoral candidates will receive their hood as a part of the official Doctoral Hooding Ceremony.

All candidates should pick up their regalia from the GW Bookstore from 8:30 a.m. - 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 14 - Friday, May 16 to participate in the Doctoral Hooding Ceremony. Candidates may still pick up their regalia Saturday, May 17 from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 18 from 7:30 a.m. - 5 p.m. (emergency pick-up only) for use at University Commencement on the National Mall.

Doctoral Hooding Ceremony Tickets
Candidates will receive a TBD number of tickets to the ceremony. Schools may be able to provide additional tickets upon reasonable request, depending on availability. Each candidate will also receive one parking permit valid on this day for a space in the University Parking Garage. Tickets for the hooding ceremony are distributed to the candidates by the individual schools.

An overflow site for the Doctoral Hooding is available in the Jack Morton Auditorium at GW's Media and Public Affairs Building (805 21st ST NW). Call (202) 994-7129 to reserve seats or for more information.
